Comments

In October 1886, according to some written source (more research needed!), arsonists destroyed San Juan’s Chinatown. The problem is: we do not (yet) know if this comment refers to San Juan Bautista or to San Juan Capistrano.

In addition, the black population is very low in 1990, so there MIGHT have been exclusion of African Americans in prior years. More research is needed on both fronts. San Juan Bautista is NOT confirmed as a sundown town vis-a-vis either group, as yet.
