Testimony of a former resident:
“Caldwell, Ohio was indeed a sundown town in the 40s, 50s and early 60s. I haven’t lived there in over 45 years, but it is my understanding from talking to my brother who still lives there that it isn’t that way now and there are a few African American families residing in the town proper. And as far as I know are well recieved and employed.”
