Long Valley is not a sundown town. It is simply in very rural northwest NJ. Very far from many urban areas, it is an old farm town. I can not say if it ever was. But as of 2008 there are blacks and hispanics enrolled in the local schools. And there are no racial problems. I have never heard anything about Long Valley being a sundown town.
