Comments

“My father spent part of his [childhood] growing up at
the cliffs. His father was one of the founders of the
community in the early 30s. My understanding is that
the community was founded as a private organization
to enable like-minded scientist types to live in the
same community. For many years– so I have been
told– you couldn’t even rent without having a
bachelor’s degree. Talk about snooty. Anyway, I spoke
to my father just this week and he said he can’t
imagine that they let in either Jews or blacks.”
