I am african american and live in coventry…It is a good old boy town — the police will not help you with matters which concern race. I have neighbors who intentionally congregate and talk about me audibly who are new to town – to purposefully harm and harrass…the police officer on my block — tells police information to his wife which she spreads around — I am ostracized and I know if I had groups of blacks deliberately talking about them to harm or cause disruption for the whites in the area — the police would do something. Coventry CT is the most racist back woods town on earth — it claims to be the north -but the town is know for making “nigger hats” — wool hats made of seconds and lesser materials for the slaves. The racism is palpable in this town — and the police are a part and or do nothing!…”
