Comments

According to an email conversation, the action of police department may explain the stark drop in the early 1990s after McDonald allowed minorities to settle in the 1980s: “My friend was a cop in McDonald. He was told to stop any black people driving in McDonald and get them out of the town asap! They […] made it very clear that black people are not wanted nor should be in that town. This was in the early to mid 90’s but I’m sure not much has changed. It is with out a doubt a sundown town.”
